Nissen-Sagar, Jennifer
Jennifer Nissen-Sagar, 50, of Marion, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at her home in Marion. As per her and her sons wishes there will be no formal service. Memorials may be directed to the family. She will be laid to rest at a later date.

Jennifer Nissen was born April 12, 1961, in Iowa City, the daughter of Robert E. and Margaret (Jones) Nissen. She attended school in the Marshalltown School District, graduating with the class of 1979. Jennifer went on to get her medical assisting degree from Marshalltown Community College. She had been the office manager for Mercy Care in Cedar Rapids.
Jennifer loved the arts, music, but most of all anything that involved her two sons.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Matthew Douglas Sagar of Pella and John Evan Sagar of Iowa City; her mother, Peg Day of Marshalltown; her siblings, Kathleen Wuerffel, Mim Duffy, Mary Riley and Matthew Nissen; and her special lifetime friends, Terry Harris and Lisa Fredrickson.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Robert Nissen in 2003; and stepfather, Homer Day in 1997.
