Kopriva, Leta Ann
Leta Ann Kopriva, 64, of Toledo, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Tama with Father Michael Mescher officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Tama. Visitation will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 from 4-7 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church with a Vigil Service at 7 PM.
Leta was born on May 8, 1947, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Bertha (Foley) Mask.
She attended Don Bosco Schools and then graduated from Geneseo High School.
On January 2, 1969, she was united in marriage to Larry Kopriva in Galena, IL. Leta worked at the Tama County Auditors office for ten years and previous to that the State Bank of Toledo. She enjoyed shopping and gardening. Leta especially enjoyed the time spent with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Richard and Dan Mask; one sister, Llona Neumann; and one nephew, Mark Neumann.
Survivors include her husband, Larry of Toledo; her children, Mitchell Kopriva of Kansas City, MO, Marty (Maureen) Kopriva of Tipton, Jeff Kopriva of Toledo, Troy (Jen) Kopriva of Ankeny and Jodi Eygabroad of Marshalltown; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeri (Dean) Splittgerber of Marshalltown; three brothers, David Mask of Washington, Bruce Mask of Traer and Joel (Julie) Mask of Traer; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa Blood and Cancer Care in Cedar Rapids or Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown.
