Shoop will make great supervisor

Becky Shoop could be one of the best supervisors to ever serve the residents of Linn County. How do I know? Because I've worked side-by-side with her for more than 7 years. She has been a leader in the auditor's office for years and a leader that other departments' employees and residents go to when no one else will listen. She has empathy and compassion for others, but isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Heck, she's not afraid to tell me like it is.
She has more than 39 years of institutional knowledge of the county, but that doesn't mean she's not open to change. In fact, she adapts to change as quickly as anyone I've ever worked with, but it has to make sense to her or she'll challenge me. That ability to challenge me, to challenge the status quo, and to challenge the current supervisors or the supervisors on Jan. 1, positions her to do some great things for the residents of Linn County. I'm a resident of District 5 and I've already cast my vote for Shoop for supervisor. I urge you to do the same on or before Nov. 4. Because I want the best for District 5 and Linn County.
