And here's part 2.
DT Darian Cooper talks about the scrum that can happen between a nose tackle and a center. BTW, he and James Ferentz get the fact that what they do everyday makes them better. If they do have a kerfuffle, it carries no farther than about 5 seconds after the whistle. They're too smart to take it any farther. They know that would be counterproductive.
FB Brad Rogers talks about how much or if he'll play running back this Saturday. I couldn't tell. Either he's a fullback or there's something going on here. If we played poker, Brad would have my money.
CB Micah Hyde talks about his partner for this season, CB B.J. Lowery.
You see the T-shirt OL Austin Blythe is wearing? If you can't make it out, it says "Beast" in big letters across the front. S&C coach Chris Doyle suggested he wear that to interviews. Not sure if I kept the camera on long enough for Blythe's answer on being the first redshirt frosh to start on Iowa's OL since Riley Reiff in '09.
LB Anthony Hitchens talks about the linebacker corps which is all the same age, third-year juniors. Again, not sure if I kept the camera on long enough, but he talked about the cleanliness of roommate C.J. Fiedorowicz. Or lack thereof.
Same subject with LB Christian Kirksey. I also asked him who the fastest linebacker is and just how competitive it is between him and fellow junior LB James Morris. Don't play Tic, Tac, Toe with them. They won't quit.
WR Keenan Davis talks about the thinking that Iowa receivers need to put into the game this season under new OC Greg Davis.
DT Carl Davis talks about that haircut. Unfortunately, I had the camera off when he talked about the knee injury he had last year. He had the knee cap in his right knee pop out twice. Yeow.

Iowa won 16-3. BTW, they're both in the NFL and starter-caliber. (AP Photo/Jerry Lai) Trans Reference:
