Iowa's future is at stake. The lack of discourse between the Iowa House and Senate has led to increased apathy and distrust among voters. It's time to change the climate in Des Moines. We need to elect a candidate who will work cooperatively across the aisle and restore our faith in government. Art Staed is the proven candidate who will move Iowa forward.
As an educator, Staed understands the challenges we face. He is relentless in his passion for ensuring everyone achieves at high levels. His experience will influence the changes that need to occur and ensure that necessary programs have sustainable funding.
This passion for learning is fueled by his business experience. Iowa's global economy requires a competent and highly trained workforce. He knows the connections between education and the private and public sectors is essential to growing our own. He will be an advocate who will continue to grow Iowa's economic development.
Because he served in the Legislature from 2007-09, he has firsthand knowledge of what it takes to move legislation forward. By reaching across the aisle, he collaborated on math and science initiatives, increased funding for preschool and community colleges, and established economic development programs while maintaining a budget surplus.
Restore Iowa's future. Elect Staed to represent Iowa House District 37.
