Davis, Darlene Hilda

Darlene Hilda Davis, 78, of Central City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at First United Methodist Church in Central City. Graveside Service: Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City.

Survivors include her children, Pam (Dave) Clary, Carl (Marilyn) Davis, Linn Yeater, Tracy (Frank) Belisle, Fred (Ann) Davis and Brenda (Bruce) Irelan; daughter-in-law, Martha Yeater; a sister, Mae Christian; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Hilda; husband, Carl Davis; son, Tim Yeater; daughter, Cheryl Yeater; four brothers; a sister; and a great-grandson, Brandon Yeater.

Darlene was born June 21, 1935, the daughter of Otto and Hilda (Martin) Schroeder in Wilton, Iowa. She graduated from Wilson High School. Darlene married Frederick Carl Davis. He died in 1973. Darlene enjoyed going for walks, bike riding and spending time with family.

A memorial fund has been established in memory of Darlene.
