Davis, Orin Gene
Orin Gene Davis, 65, of Anamosa, died May 22, 2011, peacefully in his home. There will be no services, per Orin's request.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Sharie Davis of Florida; nephew, Jason Davis and his family of Florida; and aunts, Doris Wood and Gwen Petersen, both of Des Moines; many cousins, special friends and neighbors; and a special cat, Calico.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Pat Davis
Orin was born Jan. 23, 1946, in Anamosa, Iowa. He was the son of Chas and Louise McColm Davis. Orin was a 1964 graduate of Anamosa High School. Orin worked his family farm for many years and his own scrap metal business.
