Teggatz, Lorena Gail Collingwood

Lorena Gail Collingwood Teggatz died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Colonial Manor in Amana following a brief illness at the age of 102 years.

Lorena is survived by five children, LaVera Vernon of Olin, Jo Ann (Robert) Heathman of Cedar Rapids, Myrna Teggatz of Decatur, Ill., Bonita (Gary) Lefebure of Fairfax and Bonnie Teggatz of Cedar Rapids; and daughters-in-law, Marie Teggatz of Latimer, Sandra Teggatz of Marion and Ruth Teggatz of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Howard (Donna) Collingwood of Williamsburg.

Lorena was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Leota Siems; four brothers, Mervin, Harold, Orlo and Cecil; her husband of 61 years, Orville, in 1994; and her sons, Leonard in 2001, Eugene in 2012, and Gordon in 2011.

Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Pastor Carl Cloeter will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 from 6 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
