Assorted Hawkeyes talked Tuesday. Here you go. (Say hello to Jason White for the first time.)
Last week, I asked LB Tyler Nielsen if there was a play he didn't make that motivated him this offseason. LB James Morris ticked off more than a few and, yes, of course, it's motivation.
OT Riley Reiff talks about the edge playing with an "edge" can give an O-line. Also, his job last summer was counting T-shirts. For real.
Iowa QB James Vandenberg is an intern in the UI Foundation this summer. I'm not sure if the how he's different from former Iowa QB and his mentor Ricky Stanzi made the cut here.
Going into his sophomore season, Iowa O-line coach Reese Morgan described James Ferentz's play with "plays with an edge." Ferentz explains that here and talks about Iowa's O-line uses that to its advantage.
Hey, Jason White! First time talking to the walk-on running back from Davenport. Yes, he's in the running for No. 2 RB, but he's a walk-on and so he's happy in whatever role moves the Hawkeyes ahead.
Iowa TE Brad Herman shows off his moped hair and doesn't really let you in on the thinking with Iowa's two-TE sets. I did ask who would have more receptions next year, him or sophomore C.J. Fiedorowicz. Why not ask?
Iowa linebacker James Morris talked about the plays he didn't make in 2010 and how that drives him going into 2011. (Gazette file)
