Letter: Media’s fight against Christianity

The Cedar Rapids Gazette has joined the fight against Christianity with its April 18 headline 'It's time for atheists to speak up,” a guest column written by Justin Scott, founder of the Eastern Iowa Atheists.
The USA is the oldest free nation. However, it's a simple matter of history. When a Christian nation loses its Christian values and support, failure of freedom is forthcoming. With church attendance falling to 30 percent, demise of Christianity doesn't need to be encouraged by one of Eastern Iowa's larger newspapers.
