Aaron White agrees with German team

Iowa basketball player Aaron White has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with German basketball team Telekom Bonn for the upcoming season, he confirmed to The Gazette Tuesday night.
White, a 6-foot-9 forward, was drafted in the second round by the Washington Wizards in last month's NBA draft. He appeared in six NBA summer league gamess for the Wizards, averaging 17.5 minutes, 3.0 points and 3.7 rebounds. He started two games.
White was a first-team all-Big Ten player last year, putting up 16.4 points and 7.3 rebounds. At Iowa, he ranks second in career points (1,859) and third in rebounds (901).
According to the Washington Post, the move does not sever his ties with the Wizards, who still own his rights.
