Pointless Russian collusion quest finally ends

Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller and his merry of band of witch hunters have finally closed shop, showing empty pockets after wasting two years and millions of taxpayer dollars, trying to prove that Donald Trump cheated his way into the White House, thanks to Russian hocus-pocus.
Still frustrated, Congressional Democrats are now siccing their own bloodhound, snuffling for Trump's tax returns to prove his unfitness. But in truth, most Americans are more concerned with their own tax returns. Legislative reform blunting IRS talons and Trump-era revitalization mean that dog just won't hunt.
Trump won because, one, he ran a better campaign and, two, the nation was weary of eight years of Hope and Change malarkey, with its consequent regulatory and economic pathologies. 'Make America Great Again” had a better ring than the 'America, the world's bully” presidential apology tours. Finally, Trump strategized to capture the Electoral College. If Vladimir Putin delivered that majority, why didn't he witch-doctor the popular vote, as well?
Trump likely would not have won had there not been eight years of Barack Obama. Ever the entrepreneur, Trump found an unmet need in the political market and moved to fill it. And he didn't need help from Vlad, the Ballot Box Stuffer.
