Harriett Kyle, 93, of Roseville, Calif., passed away Feb. 1, 2018.
Harriett was born Harriett Satterly on Aug. 4, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Leroy Kyle on Nov. 7, 1947, in Cedar Rapids. Harriett and Leroy moved to California and operated a number of restaurants, the last being the Cozy Inn, in Chico, Calif., until they retired. Leroy died Aug. 31, 1998.
Harriett survived a number of family members, including sister-in-law, Edna Riley, and nephews, Tom Riley and Connie Riley, all of Cedar Rapids; and Bette Baumgartner of Bermuda Dunes, Calif.
Harriett and Leroy are survived by their children, Ronald James Kyle, Robin Beals and Tricia Chapman; grandsons, Michael Beals and Joshua Beals; granddaughters, Jessica Chapman and Casey Chapman; and five great-grandchildren.
