Support fund to improve land, waterways

To the editor:
Back in 2010 Iowans voted to amend our state Constitution to create a funding source for the Natural Resources and Outdoor Recreation Trust Fund.
This fund will support state parks, clean up our waterways, promote soil conservation, and improve fish and wildlife habitat, making Iowa an even better place to live.
All that's needed now to put these measures into effect is for Iowa legislators to allocate funds in the 2016 legislative session.
You can make this happen by telling your state senator and representative to support this initiative.
