Tell Grassley you want a public health option

I'm a nurse and I know we must have a public option for health care coverage.
I have long thought Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, was an advocate of Iowans and have always voted for him. No more.
He is working against Iowa's families while being one of the top 10 recipients of campaign contributions from big insurance and pharmaceutical companies. We know from retired top insurance company leadership that they have long fought to poison Americans against any challengers, and Grassley is no stranger to those tactics.
Even worse, our once honorable senator is fundraising on the basis of defeating a public option, while at the same time telling Iowans that he wants a bipartisan effort in reformation.
I have attended the senator's town halls. He invites only his constituents, carefully screens out questioners who might challenge his fear mongering or point out the truth and is disrespectful to those who oppose him.
Grassley needs to be called upon by Iowans to tell him that we still want a public option. Let him know how you feel about voting for him again. Spread the word to your families and friends, and get them on the phones and writing letters. Tell them we don't want insurance companies making life and death decisions.
Call (202) 224-3744.
