Frederic Gene "Fred" Templer, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, in his home. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, at St. Jude's Catholic Church with Father Mark Reasoner presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Visitation will also be one hour before services Monday at the church. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Forevergreen Cemetery in Jewell.
