Rain gardens are a big help
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Thanks to the students at Scattergood School for installing a rain garden as reported April 26 in The Gazette.
If all Iowans, rural and urban, do like Scattergood and retain precipitation on their property, rather than allowing it to enter creeks and rivers, we'll take a big bite out of future floods.
