In The Gazette of April 19, in an article "Biden to pledge climate aid for developing nations,“ the Bloomberg News author stated "As the country responsible for the lion's share of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere today, the U.S. is under pressure to loosen its purse strings."
If you perform an internet search of greenhouse gas by country, you will see that the U.S. emits very close to one half of the tonnage that China does and our numbers are not growing. The terminology of a lion's share is very misleading.
Why don't we expect Chairman Xi to address China's emissions and support the developing nations equitably? Fixing the problems of the developing nations should not be part of Joe Biden's 'Infrastructure' dream.
