Other lawmakers should spend time away from Capitol

I see that Sen. Rob Hogg has been called out for absenteeism in the Iowa Legislature. As he has pointed out, the Capitol has lax safety standards, with no masking, no firearm restrictions.
In light of recent proposed and enacted legislation, I suggest other legislators spend more time away. Iowa needs laws that do not gut voting rights, give unrestricted access to firearms, defund our educational system and threaten the health of women.
