Sakulin, John Sr.
John Sakulin Sr., 67, of Cedar Rapids, died at home on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Memorial Mass: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Mark Reasoner. Burial: St. Michael Cemetery, Norway, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; son, John Sakulin Jr.; daughters, Jill (Steve) Todd, Heather (Dan) Weber, and Heidi Sakulin; brother, Glen Sakulin; sisters, Sue Shaver, Jane (Leo) Hettich, and Glenna (Ron) Stutzman; and nine grandchildren, David, Kylee, Madison, Sara, Michael, Ryan, Olivia, Jaxon and Lindsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ida Sakulin; brothers, Dick and Jim; niece, Lori Shaver; and his in-laws, Barney and Helen Knowles.
