Walk to school
Oct. 6, 2009 10:17 am
Tomorrow is the annual Walk to School Day and people are encouraging families to have their children walk or ride bikes to school.
It's an easy way for the kiddies to get some fresh air and exercise. Organizers say more than 3,000 schools have registered for this year's event, including 30 in Iowa. But the only Corridor school I see listed is Van Allen Elementary in North Liberty. That's odd.
Anyone else out there walking?
