These guys are pretty quick to beat themselves up, but Iowa OL Bryan Bulaga knows it wasn't pretty for Iowa's O-line last week. The Hawkeyes rushed 33 times for 124 yards, a 3.76 ypc, against Arkansas State.
Iowa averages just 3.92 yards a carry and has produced just two 100-yard performances (Wegher vs. ISU, Robinson vs. Arizona).
Bulaga, who saw his first action in four weeks, doesn't believe it's a continuity problem, but more mental. The inability to get a first down on the final drive stuck with the Hawkeyes.
