Fun with Lists -- No.1 Summer Songs

BuzzFeed has a list of Billboard's No.1 song from each summer 1940-2009. With time-eating links to YouTube renditions of each.

On behalf of the summer of 1989, I'd like to apologize for Richard Marx.

Here's 1947's curious entry. Tex Ritter with "Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette)."
