Cool crosswalk idea seen in Florida
On our recent family vacation we saw these flags on Gulf Boulevard in Treasure Island. Great idea!
I've used many crosswalks in Iowa where cars don't stop (or slow down) for you. In Treasure Island, somebody grabbed a flag and cars stopped. I saw this happening a few times.
Maybe we need something like this in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area?
