Brown, Anne E.
Anne E. Brown, 97, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, July 1, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Laura Smith. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Walter (Suzanne) Brown of Cedar Rapids; and her sister, Marie Biskup.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; and sister, Margaret Ferguson.
Born Oct. 21, 1912, in Cedar Rapids, Anne was the daughter of Walter and Bessie (Safranek) Henderson. On Dec. 5, 1932, she was united in marriage to William Brown. He died in 1989.
Anne was a member of Kenwood Park United Methodist Church and the Witwer Senior Center. She was a very giving person who enjoyed crossword puzzles.
