Cedar Rapids man charged with using fake name to avoid hospital charges

Police said a Cedar Rapids man gave a false name on three occasions to avoid charges at an Iowa City hospital.
Abdullrahman A. Aldosari, 51, of 132 15th St. S.E. No. 105, faces a felony offense of theft by deception after police said he used a false name and birth date during three hospital visits between October 2009 and February 2010.
He accumulated charges of over $39,000 from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Aldosari was in the Johnson County Jail Thursday morning on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
