Frasher, S. Earlene
S. Earlene Frasher, 81, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Kevin) O'Neal of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Kyle Jaycox, Skyler Manson and Abbie Springer; and five great-grandchildren.
Earlene was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Winchester, Tenn. She worked as a cashier for many years at May's Drug/Revco and Fleetway in Marion. Earlene was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed her friends at the Monday evening Bible study. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting and being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Frasher; special friend, Fred Vargason; and sons, Paul Durkee, Gary Durkee and Vernon Jaycox.
