Erger, Ronald B.
Ronald B. Erger, 76, entered peacefully into eternal life on March 30, 2010, with his family by his side, following a short illness. Services: 11: a.m. Monday, St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with Father Jack McClure C.PP.S. officiating. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael's Parish Center, with vigil and rosary at 7:30.
Survivors include his wife, Pat; children, Wendy Chesnes (Aaron Voelker), Alan (Patti), Joe, Shawn (Jodi), Vicki (Joe) Early, Dawn (Mark) Peska and Russell; grandchildren, Cassie Chesnes, Lindsay Erger, Ashly (Jim) Nelson, Westley Erger (Hannah), Jena and Paige Erger, Mariah, Leah, Rebecca, and Kaitlyn Early and Marcus Peska; great-grandchild, Jimmy Nelson; brother, John (MaryLou) Erger; and sister, Betty Emanuel.
Preceding him in death were grandchildren, Jared Chesnes, Jillian and Justine Peska; parents, Louis and Sadie Erger; brothers, Glen and Curtis Erger; and sisters, Arlene Wodstrchill and Sharon Duncan.
Ron was a member of the Norway American Legion and Catholic Order of Foresters. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed time with family and friends, playing golf, bowling and a good game of cards.
