Duncan, Kenneth L.
Kenneth L. Duncan, 88, of Manchester, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Iowa City. Memorial Services at 11 a.m. June 29 at Community Congregational Church, Manchester, with visitation at 9 a.m. A lunch will follow.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lois Duncan; children, Jeffrey (Diana), Roxie (Bill) Drees, Pamela (Robert) Hostert and Steven (special friend Pam Conklin); and brother, Edward Johnston and wife Joan.
Other survivors include six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a graduate of Iowa State University and an avid sports fan, especially of the University of Iowa and West Delaware School wrestling and football programs. He was a longtime Lions Club member. He was well known for his volunteer work, delivering meals, visiting shut-ins and other services to his community.
Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
