Duncan, George C.P.
George C.P. Duncan, 72, of 1501 First Ave., Marion, died Monday March 7, 2011, at Living Center East after a brief illness. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Kathy Gordon and Marilyn Duncan, both of Marion; and a brother, Gary of Simi Valley, Calif.
George was born on June 20, 1938, in Marshalltown, the son of Charles and Irene Clayton Duncan. George was a nurse for many years and worked at several hospitals in California. He enjoyed photography, travel and proudly served in both the Navy and Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society in George's name.
