This is for all of you having crummy days out there in Cedar Rapids: According to the Gallup folks, it could be worse -- a lot worse.
In fact, last week declared Cedar Rapids the country's seventh-happiest city. You heard me. In a survey of 188 metropolitan areas across the U.S., Cedar Rapids scored higher on the pollsters' Well Being index than all but a handful of places, including Lincoln, Neb.; Fort Collins-Loveland, Colo.; Provo-Orem, Utah; Madison, Wisc. and Honolulu.
Makes you feel a little silly for shelling out all that money for your spring break trip to South Padre, doesn't it?
