Kashyap Handoo died unexpectedly April 24, 2015.
He is survived by his wife, Nidhi; daughter, Raginya; son, Kalhan; parents, Jawaharlal and Lalita; sister, Heemal Bhat; brother-in-law, Anil; niece, Prakriti; and nephew, Panshul.
Kash was full of life, always willing to help anyone in need. He had a smile on his face when you met him.
He loved discovering new foods and places. Kash was always the first person to try something new.
He loved sports, especially his favorite Hawkeye team. He was always the first one to cheer for Raginya and Kalhan during their games. He wanted them to always do their best, but most of all enjoy the game and playing with their teammates.
Thank you Kash for being a great and loving person.
Family Hindu serv-ices will be early this coming week, with a public gathering for family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his memory to the North Liberty Food Pantry or North Liberty Fire Department.
