Endorsements are review of time in office

After glancing at the endorsements Terry Branstad has received, I cannot help but feel more confident in Chet Culver's chances of remaining governor come November.
Branstad is being endorsed by a promoter of big oil strategies that led to the BP crisis (Sarah Palin), the embodiment of the Party of No (Newt Gingrich), and a senator who only knows how to play politics rather than work for the American people (Mitt Romney, who now speaks against legislation he supported when his party was in power).
These endorsements paint a clear picture of what we will see if Branstad were elected: favoritism for big business, no help for Iowa's economy, and vetoes on anything Democrats support, even if it is best for the people.
Iowa's unemployment rate is unacceptable, but it makes zero sense to put in office a candidate (Branstad) who saw an even higher unemployment rate at 8.5 percent. Some people think that things were not as bad when Branstad was in office. I think they must have been blocking out the terrible memories of a worse economy.
