Why the double standard on Benghazi?

To the editor:
The Republican responses to Benghazi never stop even though they have spent millions of our tax dollars already. Why? According to John Garamendi, D-Calif., during the George W. Bush period, there were 13 attacks on various embassies and consulates around the world. Sixty people died. None were investigated 'because it was a tragedy.”
According to the State Department Office of the Historian, five U.S. ambassadors have been killed by terrorists: Adolph Dubs, in Afghanistan, 1979; Francis E. Meloy Jr., in Lebanon, 1976; Rodger P. Davies, in Cyprus, 1974; Cleo A. Noel Jr., in Sudan, 1973; John Gordon Mein, in Guatemala, 1968; and there have no investigations like Benghazi.
Why the double standard?
