Lone Tree man dies after car veers off road, hits tree
UPDATE: A Lone Tree man died after his car veered off the road and struck a car in a driveway in Lone Tree.
Officers were called at 11:34 p.m. on Wednesday to the accident scene at 100 E. Dougherty St., on the south side of Lone Tree.
The driver, identified as Dana L. Troyer, 47, of Lone Tree, had stopped at the intersection of Dougherty and Devoe streets, then proceeded east, crashing into a tree and vehicles, officials said.
Deputies arrived and started CPR on Troyer, but he later died at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
