Jean Bednar of Cedar Rapids, and Ben Holub of Prairieburg, were married January 2nd, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hiawatha by Father Mark Ressler. Standing up for the bride and groom were their children: Brady and Evan Bednar, and Hillary, Nathan, Mallory and Emily Holub. The bride was
escorted by her sons. Following the wedding,
a reception was held at the Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The bride is employed at OBGYN Associates P.C. The groom is an insurance agent and owns Holub Insurance Agency, LLC, as well as crop farming near Prairieburg. They will make their home in Rural Prairieburg.
