Letter: Pat Heiden is an advocate for seniors

I am supporting Pat Heiden for Johnson County Board of Supervisors.

I have had the privilege of working closely with her for seven years on the Oaknoll Board of Directors. She is a highly capable administrator who possesses great passion for her job. She is a good listener and a friend to virtually every person she meets.

While she will be sorely missed by the staff and residents at Oaknoll, she will bring her considerable understanding of senior issues to the Board of Supervisors and continue to be a strong advocate for our elder residents. Her volunteer service to numerous other community organizations demonstrates her deeply held sense of personal involvement in her community.

Please join me in supporting Heiden for the Democratic Primary vote on June 7, or better yet, vote early at the auditor's office or by absentee ballot.
