Impressed by Gazette columnists, not editing

I was so disappointed to learn that Mike Deupree was retiring from his column. I thought there would never be another like him. He once wrote to me personally after I had responded to one of his columns. How cool is that?
I am equally impressed with Todd Dorman. His columns make so much sense to me and, more than that, he makes me laugh.
Your proofreaders, on the other hand, are another story.
