Iowa offensive coordinator Ken O'Keefe talks about the success of the offense this season. He pointed to the development of the offensive line, a unit that was kind of a mystery going into the season.
O'Keefe was asked simply "What's good about Stanzi?" Good answer here.
O'Keefe discusses Iowa's backup running back position. Freshmen Marcus Coker and Brad Rogers sort of hold that spot now. There's no set amount of carries for Adam Robinson, except for all them.
Here the topic is senior WR Derrell Johnson-Koulianos and the core group of receivers, which has been a more-than solid group this season.
Two topics here: RB Jewel Hampton and his long road back from a second knee surgery and true freshman TE C.J. Fiedorowicz.
Topic here is fullback Brett Morse and how Iowa just kind of finds guys to play the position rather than recruit players for it.
QB Ricky Stanzi and his growing patience is touched on here. Also, O'Keefe mentioned Stanzi's preparation. There's some elaboration here.
This was a good topic, the opening script for Iowa's offense and what goes into it. Iowa does script its first 12 or so plays. It's basically a feeling out process with the defense.
Iowa OC Ken O'Keefe talks to the media on Thursday.
