Every child deserves preschool education

Cindy Golding told the crowd at The Gazette/KCRG-TV9 debate on Oct. 26 that the state should not expand the amount of money spent on preschool education for the children of Iowa. Middle class parents would have to pay for their children's education out-of-pocket, even if they do not have room for it in the family budget.
I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to have the benefit of a jump start in their education, not just the children of the wealthy.
