Legislation would have drawn outrage for Bush

Can you imagine the nation's outrage if what was proposed July 22 by the Obama administration had been proposed when Bush was president? (http://hsgac.

The legislation would grant the president sweeping emergency powers to seize control of or even shut down portions of the Internet for companies that do not “immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed” by the Department of Homeland Security. Page 80, Line 4.
I have to admire the brashness of the new administration. Unequivocal love of authoritarianism in an election year! Maybe they think they won't have to worry about elections much longer.
