Title X funding cut is an attack on women

The new Republican leadership apparently doesn't understand that women make up a rather large voting block. Eliminating Title X funding for family planning is an extreme attack on women and does absolutely nothing to create jobs or improve the economy. Instead, it eliminates access to birth control, cancer screenings and health exams for millions of women in Iowa and across the country, many of them struggling to make ends meet.
While this bill passed the House, I wanted to thank Rep. Dave Loebsack, D-Iowa, for voting against it.
