Something to chew on.
The Centers for Disease Control maps obesity in the U.S. by county, using 2007 data. At first squint, Linn County looks sort of turquoise, athough Johnson County appears to be more svelte. Missouri looks pretty hungry, and that's sort of scary.
And I just got done helping judge a holiday cookie contest. Thanks CDC.
