Allick, Christiane 'Tina' J.
Christiane “Tina” J. Allick, 89, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Feb. 5, 2011, at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with Chaplain Phil Saunders officiating. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. today at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Tina was born July 13, 1921, in Paris, France, the daughter of Jean and Constance Rouquet. She married Emil Allick on Nov. 12, 1945, in Paris, France. Tina and Emil owned and operated Emil Allick Self-Serve Grocery from 1945 until 1964. In 1964, they opened Emil's Deli operating the deli until 1976. The Deli is now operated by their son David.
Tina is survived by her husband of 65 years, Emil; children, David (Vinca) Allick of Cedar Rapids, Dianne (Michael) O'Brien of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Deb Allick of Cedar Rapids; and five grandchildren, Nathan, Christopher and Adam Allick of Cedar Rapids and Shannon (Erin) and Megan O'Brien of St. Petersburg, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant granddaughter, Molly Allick-O'Brien.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Courageous.
