Brian W. Butts, 56, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Vinton and Columbus, Ohio, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at Unity Point Living Center East in Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
