Shawn A. Platt, 48, of Iowa City died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Good News Bible Church in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery, rural Johnson County, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Shawn's memory.
