Ockenfels Jr., Maurice
Maurice Ockenfels Jr., 59, son of Mort and Marcy Ockenfels, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at home following a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Rudolph Juarez officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Following the committal, a tailgate reception will begin at 11:05 a.m. at the Moose Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Goodwill Industries or Systems Unlimited.
