Funke, Verna Manson Carpenter
Verna Manson Carpenter Funke, 92, of Elkader, died Thursday, June 13, 2013. Private family graveside services will be held at Taylorville Cemetery, Arlington, Iowa.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (Glenn) Belden; and grandchildren, Vicki (Lee) K oenig, Daniel (Dar) Belden and Curtis (Dawn) Belden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two brothers; a sister; a nephew; and granddaughter, Julie Belden.
Memorials may be made to Elkader Congregate Meals or a food bank.
