Iowa provides a place for veterans

I'm writing because I want all people to know there is a Veterans Home in Marshalltown.
There are about 500 residents living at the facility. Most of them are in wheelchairs, and they represent all branches of the service - with all kinds of wounds.
The Iowa Veterans Home has existed since 1887, and the current commandant, Tim Oujiri, is from Cedar Rapids.
