Ruthmarie Polansky, 76, of Waterloo, Ill., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, Ill., by Pastor Jared Parker. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Surviving are her children, Robert (Linda) Polansky and James (Elizabeth) Polanzke; sister, Judith (Daryl) Murken; grandchildren, Joshua Polansky, Sarah (Drew) Sappenfield and Rebecca Polanzke; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Sappenfield; her mother, Alyce Cleeremans; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Cleeremans.
Memorials may be sent to Camp Wartburg, Waterloo, Ill., or Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, Ill.
